From October 23 to 25, 2008, you will have a meeting with speakers from different countries, who will discuss the opportunities and chalenges to build a better planet. During the BioFach América Latina and ExpoSustentat Conference, exhibitors and visitors will join Latin America's greater marketplace for organic and sustainable products and services.

The domestic markets for organic food in Latin America are presenting strong development. Brazil's 30% annual growth rate is an example of this promising market. The BioFach América Latina and ExpoSustentat Conference aims to support these emerging markets, as a unique discussion and information platform for the organic sector in Latin America.

The first BioFach Conference in Brazil, in 2003 at Rio de Janeiro, exceeded all expectations with 1.216 conference participants! BioFach América Latina 2004 had 2,000 visitors and the 2005 edition counted 3,755 participants per day. Since 2006 the show takes place in São Paulo receiving more than 6,000 visitors. For 2008 a greater growing success is expected!

Simultaneous translations in English and Portuguese will be available in some panels.
